In a predestined location directly opposite the Südkreuz rail station in Berlin is the new German headquarters building of utility company Vattenfall. The impressive wood-hybrid structure provides space for about 1600 employees, with floorspace extending over 22,000 m².
This modern, light-permeated building is far more than just a visually appealing combination of certified wood and concrete. The DGNB, Germany’s Society for Sustainable Building, recently awarded it the title of Germany’s most sustainable building. For this concept, Jayminton supplied an appropriate ceiling solution.
